About Me
Humans fascinate me! I am passionate about helping you to get curious about your body and your life- this is what my first acupuncture teacher taught me. Through curiosity, loving observation and exploration, healing happens.
I started acupuncture treatment when a friend referred me to a wonderful practitioner. She said, “I don’t know what she’s doing but you have to try it!” At the time I was struggling with grief, a major life transition, disordered eating and substances. Had I gone to a doctor I probably would have been diagnosed with any number of things- but I found my acupuncturist. She helped me to find harmony in my body, to listen to it, and to trust it. I started sleeping better, I stopped drinking, my appetite and mood stabilized, allergies and menstrual symptoms cleared. It seemed like magic and I wanted to share it with others.
I earned my Masters of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, and continued study of advanced acupuncture and gynecology with Evan Rabinowitz, a senior student of Jeffrey Yuen. I am currently diving deep into the integration of Western trauma theory and Chinese medicine with Alaine Duncan. I have completed 500 hours of training in the Sivananda lineage of hatha yoga as well as VajraYoga training with Michele Loew and Robert Thurman. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and English with a French minor from Goucher College. I am a Buddhist, camper, hiker, art lover, and native New Yorker living in East Baltimore with my husband, dog and two cats.
